Sharing Your Talents and Skills to Fulfill Life's Purpose

We should all invest more time finding our unique gifts, refining them, and sharing them with the world.

Every one of us has a special gift in life. Some of us are blessed with an abundance of unique gifts.

Regardless, we are all destined to do something big in this world. We may not see it just yet, but great possibilities exist.

Unfortunately, many of us never realize our gifts and potential and follow life as it comes.

We can easily get consumed with the not-so-important things in the world and miss the opportunity to experience life in a more fulfilling way. Our energy can easily be directed away from unique and compelling emotions due to our quest for prominence, ego, and wealth.

The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away- David Viscott.

This quote is sound advice for getting off the endlessly moving treadmill more often.

You should invest more time finding your gift, cultivating it, and sharing it with the world. You should consistently seek opportunities to spread your gift everywhere. Look to share your gift wherever you find a purpose for it. It will become a habit once you hit your stride with sharing your unique gift.

You are not at risk of ever losing this special gift. Instead, it’s far more likely that giving it away will accelerate its growth within you and open up possibilities greater than you imagined.

Wouldn’t it be great to stop the voices of doubt questioning your value and instead be fully confident in your unique gifts? You live more generously when you give away your skills and talents to fulfill life’s purpose. There would be less competition and more collaboration. Less jealousy and more joyful celebration of one another’s successes.

I challenge you to think deeply about this concept –finding your gift and then focusing your life’s work on giving it away. How would this impact your inner voices of discontentment in your career, questioning the use of your time, or wondering if you’re impacting the world?

Whatever you have to work with today would be enough. Our world’s focus would shift from attaining more to doing more.

Yes, we all have gifts to give away in life!
